Song of the sea is a little hidden gem, we loved every thing about it, room was very clean and totally charming, the screened in porch is a plus, the resort grounds are immaculate, the pool area is cute and not crowded, loved the breakfast terrace, the water fountain is so relaxing, and the winner is the very close proximity to the beautiful beach🏖 Breakfast is good and included in the price and so are the bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. The staff is nice and very professional. I was Especially impressed when they replaced the bottle of wine with A non-alcoholic sparkling beverage when I requested not to have any alcoholic drinks in my room👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Very few things they could address to make the rooms even nicer- such as placing some hooks in the room and porch for hanging wet towels etc.. a small sofa instead of the chairs would be better, also having a broom in the room would help for those Who choose not using house keeping daily, and the mattresses could be a bit firmer. Other than that a lovely hotel!! I definitely recommend this place and would be more than happy to book it again in the future. 3 night was NOT enough!!!😊 Hanane benjelloun

Lovely place to stay for a peaceful beach vacation. Great staff (shout out to Amanda and Mikey, the housekeeping and the kitchen staff for taking great care of us this past week). The breakfast is really nice, there’s no shortage of bikes to get around the island, and there’s easy beach access with chairs and umbrellas. We checked out paddle boards and you can check out a kayak during your stay from the sister hotel next door (included in the price of your stay). There’s a tiki bar that serves food on site and Dante’s restaurant also on site. If you want a sparkly new hotel or to be able to walk to downtown quickly, this isn’t the place for you - it shows some age, kind of like staying in a European hotel - but it’s clean, quiet, convenient, and had all the amenities you’d expect at a beach resort. Great place for couples and there were several families, too. The patio is screened which was nice for avoiding bugs.

The property is beautiful. The pools are lovely. The tiki bar was fun and served delicious food. The room was nice. The location was perfect! We loved all the amenities included in what we felt was a very reasonable activities fee. We rode bikes, paddle boarded, enjoyed the provided beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas, ate a good breakfast, and we swam in two pools and relaxed in the hot tub, all for no additional charge! We also enjoyed the screened in porch, the included bottle of wine, and the direct beach access. Above all, we enjoyed the staff, especially Amanda and the maintenance crew. Amanda was over the top professional and friendly. She handled every single request we had with a smile. We had a couple small issues in the room, and she not only promptly took care of them, she gave us a $50 gift card the tiki bar to compensate for our inconvenience! Amanda is exactly who you hope to find when you are escaping the stress of every day life by going on vacation! We can hardly wait to go back! Thank you Amanda, and the entire staff who worked so hard for us to have an enjoyable get away!

My husband and I spent the weekend here last week with our two girls and it was wonderful. Pros: Breakfast was fantastic. The fresh pressed juices, the waffles, fresh fruits, etc were all a girl could ask for. The beds in our room were comfortable. The beach was in the backyard, you can't beat a nice short walk to a private beach from your room. Cons: The wooden furniture in the room left a brown greasy film on any clothes it touched. The lighting outside at night left much to be desired. I wanted to use the hammock but it was pitch black at night. And the room wasn't as clean as I'd hoped. But the staff were kind and breakfast service was really wonderful.

Everything was very nice and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Very laid back and old Style Florida. The grounds were immaculate and perfectly manicured. The beach was awesome with the chairs and umbrellas they furnished for free. Pool and hot tub were perfect and they were clean. The room had a small kitchenette and full size refrigerator which we utilized for breakfast and lunch. There were two high back chairs in the room, however they were not that comfortable and more of a lounging chair would have been better. No place to really lounge back and put up your feet other than to use the bed. The chairs on the screen porch were very uncomfortable and there was nowhere to hang our wet towels and bathing suits. A few hooks or a small rack would have been more than helpful. As it was we wound up draping the towels and bathing suits over the chairs which was inconvenient.

I can't say enough about this hotel. I've been staying here for the past 10 years. It's one of those old style Florida hotels that are hard to find. I love the absolute serenity and quietness, the pool, the shelling cleaning area, and the location. No one bothers you and the grounds are lovely. Free bikes, laundry area, and restaurant right next door. I wish they would offer repeat guests a discount or special accommodation when arriving. Rooms are fine but bathrooms could be bigger and little updates. Great to have a fridge, microwave and stove. Just love it here and I only hope they dont change in ANY WAY!!

The staff at Song of the Sea were excellent and the day time staff at the front desk Victoria was extra helpful to make our stay at the in excellent! The grounds are amazing, flowers and lush trees like your staying in your own private gardens, nice pool although cause of COV19 there was no Jacuzzi plus the adjoining properties have an excellent Tiki bar and grill which have excellent simple meals well prepared with great flavor! We went there for some R&R and the beach was fantastic plus allot less kids at the beach and the pool so we had a relaxing time. The rooms are a little retro but ours had and extra back couch/bedroom W/TV and the air conditioning never failed once. I would recommend if you can get it a second floor room so you would have a better view of the beach but even the first floor rooms have that garden view which is outstanding. The grounds remind me like resorts in Jamaica without going on a plan and getting taxied around for hours to get there. I have to say it again Victoria and her staff were 5 star plus in going out of there way to make us feel at home!

We stayed at the Sanibel Inn. Convenient and easy to find. Ample parking. The room we rented was great. Had a kitchen area, a small safe for valuables, view of the gulf and pool from a fully screened in patio/balcony. Beach was just steps away with first come, first serve lounge chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels. Tiki bar restaurant by the pool was delicious for lunch or afternoon snacks and beverages. Dante's restaurant was on site and had delicious breakfast and dinner options. Staff were all very nice and friendly. We can't wait to come back.

Sanibel Inn is right on the Gulf with amazing views, nice sized pool and beautiful grounds. Staff is friendly and helpful and there is plenty to do and see throughout the island. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is your place and the price is right too. Amazing restaurants throughout the island, many close by. Glad to see the island rebuilding and thriving again. We would definitely stay here at Sanibel Inn again, wonderful time.

The resort is beautiful, and our room was clean, modern and comfortable, with a large shower, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. We booked a top floor, gulf front room; the view was lovely and just a short walk to the pool and beach! Screened-in balcony kept the bugs away, and the room was air-conditioned and comfortable. The grounds are well-kept and beautiful! Chairs and umbrellas were available at the pool and beach every day, along with paddle boards and kayaks, with friendly, welcoming staff to set them up when you arrive. This hotel was a bit of a splurge for us - higher price level than we usually book - and it was well worth it. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

This place became my favorite in Florida. Far from noisy pool, crowded beaches and loud music. The hotel itself is renovated and everything is new and nice. The hotel offers pool, beach chairs, kayaks, paddle boards, bikes and tennis/pickle ball courts. All free of charge including parking. The hotel staff is absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful. Fin, Mickie, Ryan went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The only downsize was that hotel doesn’t have a laundry room and fitness. We will be back next year ☺️

My daughter stayed here with my parents and loved it! She said the pillows and beds were amazing! She left some earrings behind and the manager went above and beyond to search for them! Highly recommend!

We came here for our honeymoon and its been absolutely gorgeous. The resort is very clean, its very nice and the cost was fair for our stay. Our room has an amazing view of the ocean and is updated and very clean. The staff is friendly and they seem to enjoy working here. We like the location, its right on the beach and anything you need is within 5 to 10 mins driving, or about 20 walking/biking. This is a great place, we cant wait to come back for our anniversary.

Amazing location and views! Lots of shops and restaurants to bike to or drive. Maybe too far for a walk in the heat, but nothing is really that far. Sanibel Inn was exceptionally accommodating in meeting our needs. James and Ryan at the front desk were totally obliging to my anniversary request, and Jorge at the hut was essential in executing it! (Thank you)! All staff were personable and professional. I would recommend anyone to stay here. Of note, bring water shoes! The beaches are amazing and so fun for the kids to collect shells, but there are more than I knew and definitely hurt our feet walking into the ocean.

Birthday getaway for my husband. first visit since the Cat 5 hurricane hit Sanibel 2 years ago. Was pleasantly surprised to see how much progress they have made in such a short amount of time. Will definitely be back! Sanibel Inn is awesome once again. ❤️

Sanibel Inn is our go to get-away to enjoy piece. We have waited since before Ian hit and here we are now leaving the stress behind. There has been a face lift since Ian hit and the rooms no longer have carpet. The adult beverages could use some tweaking but other than that, it's definitely nice being here.
